I bought two of these to replace my factory Dana44 differential covers. These are very heavy duty and ever nice. They look great and are an easy upgrade to do.

Yes I could use some RTV. But it’s way more effort and far more likely to be a problem if applied wrong. Fit perfect with my new Dana 44 Yukon diff cover.

Never using gasket maker again its a mess this gasket solves that issue no leaks at the moment on my jk rear diff.

This gasket fit the front differential cover of a 1985 Chevrolet G30 5.7L 4x4 cargo van. I guess the 4wd was aftermarket. Dana 44 was used on all sorts of things. I used a differential cover chart to visually match to this gasket. The material seems pretty standard, paper and resin, not sure how it will hold up twenty years from now. Would be great to see some silicone or fluoroelastomers instead, but manufacturers always cut costs and this is no exception.
