Is shorter rod length then the ECGS one but was long enough to go into the differential and allow two small sockets to sit on each end to keep from smashing the axle seal. Put bottom in the groove then take a punch and hammer and tap the top into place to get it to fit in behind. Just make sure you watch the videos and follow the instructions for a effortless removal.

Talk about disappointing! Trying to use this $40 puller, and it just breaks the two pieces. I tried everything to get it to work, and now I've got a truck with an even more damaged axle bearing. I have to scramble and call my kids because I'm down a vehicle, and my wife's not here. Two other auto part stores visits later. One is to rent a bearing puller that doesn't work, and then I go to another place and rent a bearing puller and a slide hammer that are entirely free.

Man, I tried every tool in the garage including a slide hammer and couldn’t get the needle bearing to budge after 2 hours I finally gave up and ordered it. Once I got the tool and got it set to pull the bearing out it was less than 2 minutes and it was out! Buy It and save your sanity and time!

Had to file down edges for my use. Tool worked well enough, but it does suck that it had to be modified to work for the exact vehicle it was designed for.

Don’t try and build a tool like I did. Just order it. It removed my bearing in 20 seconds lol.

The end that goes into the cv axle is a hair too big. Was not able to use it. Also could not return it due to it being past 30’days

Tool broke the first time I used it.Fits great on 3rd gen Tacoma. Made out of soft metal. Machined part of tool split in Half putting pressure on bearing. Maybe defective tool!
