This is a solid mug! The ceramic is thicker than some of the other mugs I've bought from amazon-- it actually retains heat and insulates it so you don't burn your hands holding it. The strainer is deep and wide, which is really good for rehydrating tea leaves and makes for easy cleaning as well. The lid does its job of keeping steam in while the leaves steep, then holding the strainer without spilling after the tea's brewed. Appearance-wise, the mug is as-pictured, including the color. It's plain but still attractive, with no cracks, chips or other cosmetic deficiencies.This mug has held up well with frequent, daily use, steeping tea at temps from 180-200F. I've had other mugs crack after a few weeks of that heavy use. This one may fail eventually, but I'm satisfied enough with the build quality that I wouldn't mind buying it again and I expect it to last a few months at least. Plus I like the range of colors! Might buy more anyway, just to have one as a backup in case this one "disappears" at work. Looking at you, Pam.

If I could give this charming little cup more stars I would!! This is by far one of my favorite recent purchases! I was worried that the infuser would not allow too much liquid; however , this is NoT the case I can fill the cup up, place the lid, and remove the loose tea and have a full cup of tea! Easy to clean, dries fast and I love that the lid is a little saucer for when you’re done steeping. Love this cup and am so glad I bought more than 1!! Already planning to give as a gift for Christmas.

This is the perfect size cup for tea and the shape is just what I was looking for. With the lid, liquids stay nice and hot until consumption. Used in dishwasher and microwave.

I had a very similar cup, which served me well, but eventually I dropped the lid and it chipped. I was looking for replacement and came across this item. I am absolutely satisfied with this replacement, it is of a great quality and really nice to use. The mash is very dense, so not even tiny tea particles manage to escape.
