Before I had this holder, I had to just set the heat gun down after using it and try to make sure the metal tip didn't touch anything. That was difficult if my workbench was full of stuff. Having a heat gun holder next to my workbench is very convenient and a lot safer, since the heatgun also won't fall off and land on anything flammable. The magnet is quite strong, the metal rings are at least strong enough to hold a heat gun, and the whole thing is pretty compact. It works perfectly against the vertical support for my metal shelving.

Works as stated. Fits my cheapie Harbor freight heat gun. Very handy to keep it out of the way and off of the workbench area and not inadvertently burning something. Magnet doesn't slip.

You can also take magnets off and just screw to any surface you need the Heat Gun Holder Attched to.

It was frustrating having to pick up my heat gun with one hand while trying to keep film in place. Makes it so much easier to grab the gun to add some heat in a hurry. Not bad for putting on the leg of the bench while doing bench projects too. Fewer burns on myself and my workspace!
