These snips work great and are the right size for getting into the thick branches of citrus trees. They are small enough to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand, which helps with one hand on the fruit and one hand clipping while hanging off the side of a 15' ladder. The only design flaw is that the hinge screw is not fitted with a locknut. The manufacturer uses a regular nut, and the screw is threaded through the hinge. This allows the snips to tighten or loosen while you are working. I have had to drill out the threads in the snip arms and get a locknut for the screw so that I can control how tight or loose the snips are.

This is a professional tool for cutting fruit off the tree. It looks very promising.

Doesn’t have a safety clasp to keep them closed when not in use.

Works as intended. It would help if the manufacturer's own site or the Amazon page had a picture how to use the strap. Simple trial and error reveals that you orient the strap such that you put your 'pointer' finger through it so that the clipper essentially hangs from your finger between cuts. Also orient the strap such that the nut is pointing away from the strap and not digging in to your finger. Works well for those citrus fruits that don't separate from the branch with a twist.
