wore it for a bridal shower and got so many compliments!! material is stretchy and comfortable, also pretty thick. I’m a true medium but probably could have gone with a small. loved this dress and will definitely wear it again soon!! i might even order in another color

I was intrigued by the photos of the dress, and thought it might be fun for summer nights. But there were issues for me.Pros: The fabric is wonderful! It's got a nice stretch and is not that awful bathing suit material that's showing up on so many types of clothings.Fits true to size, and is comfortable.CONS:The fabric for the shoulder area is awkward -- it doesn't seem to do what it's supposed to do.The style of the dress, if you have even a slightly curvy figure, can look matronly.The fabric shows everything. If you're good with that, then it's fine. But you could see the outline of my navel.I think this could be a great dress for the right person, but I'm 5'4" 137lbs, and it looked frumpy.

Overall, I am quite happy with this dress. It's a nice, light-weight dress. The material is soft and comfortable and the construction is sound. There are no weird hems or gathering or puckering points. No loose threads. There's also a good amount of stretch to this.The fit is true to size, and with the amount of stretchiness in play, if you are between sizes, I would say go with the smaller of the two. It falls very flatteringly along the body, so you do NOT at all have to be super thin to feel comfortable and pretty in this dress.The material is also completely opaque in black, so I had no issue with my bits and bobs trying to play peek-a-boo.I did take off a star for two reasons. One is that the top is not sewn down at all, so it reaaaaally wants to roll up rather than stay folded over. Not a deal breaker, and an easy fix, but still a bit annoying. The other is pricepoint. I do feel it is a bit overpriced for the dress you get.Overall though, it really is a nice light summer dress that, with a bit of syling and maybe a few stitches or well-hidden safety pins, could easily see regular rotation. Can recommend.

I'm not particularly happy with this dress and that's a real bummer. I wanted to love it and wear it to a family event in May, but after getting it, I'm not even sure if I'll wear it. It came with a smell and the wash didn't even get rid of it. It's WAY too long on me and it's just not worth hemming. It's a nice material and I'm sure it'd be more flattering on a taller woman, not to mention that it is comfortable. The material "gives," so that's a plus, because it does have some stretchiness to it. It could be a good value for the money if it didn't have that smell - why I took off two stars.

i really do like this dress, i have worn it recently and got compliments on it. the fabric is great, comfortable, feels kind of like a jersey, which i love. it's a beautiful color, the perfect length on me, i love the top part. it can go off the shoulder or go onto your shoulders, which creates a bit of a cowl collar, both are cute. however, getting it into the off the shoulder position is fairly awkward & kind of difficult to do. so i've worn it the other way thus far.it's got some give to it, as i said, like a jersey, i think it's viscose? excellent! i think it's a good value. i DO wish it had pockets though. that wouldn't mess w/the line of it or anything, as it's a full skirt. :)

It’s always a hit or miss i feel like ordering these more affordable dresses on amazon but this one exceeded expectations. It is so comfortable and the fit makes me feel so cute and snatched while wearing it. It’s not too thick but definitely not see through so it might be the perfect choice for a summer/spring wedding guest dress. It is great price for the quality of it. And it stretches but i would still get true to size because it fit me perfectly while hugging my curves in the way i wanted it to. So elegant and timeless. The only thing if you are unfamiliar with this type of neckline, if you lift your arms up you will have to readjust the off the shoulder straps again. I have noticed with any stretchy off the shoulder piece it all does the same. But when you think about it, how could it not.
