I'm a scientist and I'm using these to collect and freeze spider venom. I'm not actually using them in a centrifuge. The size and shape of these make them perfect for storing very small aqueous samples. Polypropylene isn't a great plastic for organic solvents, so only use aqueous samples.

We use these for seed storage and shipping. They work perfectly for this purpose and have been a great shipping solution to keep our seeds safe. The lid stays closed well yet is easy enough to pop open. Fairly priced pack of 1000 - we're incredibly happy with them!
