I'm not a favor is this design, I gotta say, but it does function. (I'd rather the device completely cover the switch.) This should keep the switch off, though.

I bought this for my light switch in the shop that is in line with the other two light switches. The first two switches turn off and on the lights inside the shop. The third light switch turns on the dusk till dawn light outside the shop and is supposed to stay turned on. This protects it from being turned off accidentally.

One of my autistic kids loves to perform the strobe light effect all day and night cares not for anyone's opinion on it! wellthe rest of us like sleep And not having headache's so the hunt began .... Only light switch lock that will actually lock no entry no trick to.open( my kids need padlocks keyed entry to stuff we don't want touched or tampered with...) Regular child locks are useless ... Took 2 days of searching and these amazing inventions showed up saving my child's life!!! I bought 2 now to order at least a dozen more ... Autism must have!!!

I was so tired of my security light being accidentally turned off at least once a week. This was the perfect fix for my garage. I also installed one over my a/c service switch in the attic which seems to be off every spring from one of my employees thinking that they were turning off the attic lights.
