Installation Methods The main line of this zipline slackline is 60ft in length, and the slackline with a ratchet is 8.2ft in length. It is recommended to install it between two trees, stable wooden stakes or solid pillars. The circumference of one of the trees should not exceed 8ft; otherwise, the slackline with the ratchet cannot be used. The diameter of the other tree determines the installation distance of the slackline. Usually, an installation distance of 40-50ft can be used. For a better gliding experience, it is recommended to install it at an incline, with one end slightly higher and the other slightly lower, to better utilize gravity and inertia for gliding.
Precautions The slackline is woven from polyester and has a certain degree of shrinkage. When you use it, it is normal for the main line to sag. You can adjust the installation height according to the height of the child. It is recommended that when the child glides to the end, it is higher than the ground. This zip line kit is somewhat challenging, so when your child uses it, it must be under adult supervision. I think a sling would feel a little more stable, having two ropes to hold rather than one.It makes a loud whine when riding down the lineThe cons don't outweigh the pros but I took away one star because of the difference between what I received and what is pictured.

We used this all summer! Kids 3-12 enjoyed it! Needed my husband to help me put it up but it really wasn't too hard.

So a cable ziplone is better yes but the ratchet ribbon zipline is easy and fast to set up and especially with lighter weight kids it's just fine. I had purchased a different brand prior to this and will say this one with the two roller style slides is a much better design than my previous 8 mini sleeves, one of them seized and pretty much made it worthless. I really like the addition of the swing in this set to. Highly recommend.
