How to use the felt needle
Step 1

Step 2
Insert the needle into the gap, then put the two parts together, and then put it back into the wooden handle.

use with wool roving, put the wool yarn on the foam board, and punch the wool grit with wood until it reaches the ideal shape.

This kit has all the materials you will need to start a small project. The small quantity is deceivingly plentiful for several projects, there is a selection of needles, and it all comes in a nice little plastic box with separators. And real leather finger cots for two fingers! All this for under $10. An amazing bargain to be able to practice and see if you like this craft. Any directions are available on you tube, so the fact that there are none in the kit isn't an issue for me.

These felting kits are wonderful. Tons of wool, multiple needles in case one or more break, and good variety of colors. The quality is great, and maybe 1/5 of the cost of project-specific kits. I just wish they had used a “stickier†wool than merino.

I'm totally new to needle felting and I loved this little kit. It was everything I needed to make some little felt animals for my son's advent calendar. I watched a couple of tutorials and everything came out great. It doesn't look like you get a lot of wool, but actually a little goes a long way. Love it.

I got this kit for my teen daughter for her birthday after she had been wool felting for a couple of months. She mostly makes little animals so this kit was PERFECT to replenish the colors she uses the most and has extra tools in case she misplaces something from her other kit or in case something breaks. The kit is wonderful and we definitely recommend it as the perfect supplement to some of the bigger kits. The only reason I say this is because of the limited color pallet, which in her case is exactly why we bought it since it contains the colors she uses most.

I feel like the wool was much better than the kind you get in those felting kits with ready made characters. It felt somewhat softer, but not too much. This might just be an impression and not true. The quantity of wool is your usual small plastic baggie, but it's enough wool to make small animal shaped friends. It's a good deal for the price. The colors in real life are what is advertised in the images. For a beginner like me, this is perfect.

This product is an excellent beginners kit.I've never done any kind of felting whatsoever before today, but was able to make these two nubbets.4 stars due to limited range of colours. Could've used a yellow/blue/green instead of some of the browns. Otherwise would be rating 5 stars
