Front Alignment Cam Bolts are used to fine tune the caster on your TJ or ZJ. These came factory on '97 TJ's, but newer models will require these for alignment after a lift without longer control arms has been installed.

They are easy to install, when installing the bushings into the link,I just put a small amount of packing grease on it then put it in a small bench vise to make it go in evenly...after that if you can turn a wrench...then you can do it.I installed these on my 96 jeep zj with 2" lift,33's on stock tj steel wheels (8" wide with factory offset) this is an amazing product,Much bigger, stronger and better looking than factory

Hi, I have a 3" lift kit (SkyJacker) on my Jeep and ordered these ZONE Sway bar links (without disconnects) to replace the SJ disconnects.Let me tell you that it was a horrible experience.First of all even though ZONE specified that this item was fully compatible with my jeep year/model/etc. the darn thing just did NOT fit. The Sway Bar itself seemed very sturdy & looked slick. One of the 4 round bushes supplier in the kit bag provided was of a completely different size & would not fit into the sway bar (round end)!!!!Also the bolts supplied were much smaller & looked very flimsy & were all too loose when positioned inside the bush/metal sleeve provided by ZONE.It was a major hazard driving like this !!! So the mechanics & I had to go around shopping for the appropriate stronger (and correct size) bolts and that odd bush !!!!Very very disappointed & I can tell you that the guys from our 4x4 club (5k+ members) will be reconsidering such purchases from such a poorly packaged product !!!A job that should take 2 hours max to complete (using a proper lift) took us 3 days to sort out !!! Very disappointing indeed & poor quality control on part of the manufacturer...

Great product if you don't use the included mounting hardware. None of the included screws are the correct lengths for installation also if your intention is quick release, go to the local hardware store and get hardware that will allow quick release.

I have a 99 wrangler and replaced the sway bar links 3 times with cheap factory replacements from Auto Zone, Car Quest and O'Reillys. Not only is the stock replacement a much bigger PITA to install, they are junk for quality. The Zone links are much easier to install and have held up for 15k miles so far. My front end stiffened up and the jeep drives as well as a 99 can.Wish I would have bought these right away instead of the factory replacements.

Much better built than the oem part with no ball and socket to separate. My only advice is to make sure that you install the top bolt attaching the link to the u-shaped bracket from the inside out with the nut toward the tire. If installed in reverse, the extra bolt length beyond the nut can rub on the frame if the sway bar shifts at all. I'm not sure how you're supposed to install this properly if you attach the top u-bracket the sway bar first (and attach the link to the axle side first) because there isn't room to slide the bolt in from the inside due to the frame being in the way. The only reason I got it to work was because one of the link studs on my axle broke off in disassembly and I had to replace it with a bolt. When re-assembling, this allowed me to install the links in the following manner: Attach the u-brackets to the sway bar, rotate the sway bar up and attach the end links to the sway bar (with the bolt from the inside, slide the sway bar fully to the side with the axle bolt removed and bend things just enough to get the link attached to the axle side with the unbroken oem bolt, and then slide the new bolt I purchased into the other axle side and tighten everything down. If you have a bolt break off on the axle, you'll probably need to get it nice and hot with a torch to tap the bolt out as they are kind of press fit in like an wheel stud (they will not turn even though there is either a torx or hex fitting on the bolt). I would also recommend painting these to slow down potential rust, even though they are zinc coated.
