Bought these to assist us when wearing waders incase water gets inside. It does what it is intended for especially the early spring and late fall when it is cold and sometimes freezing temps. The inside does get damp wet, not sure if water seeps in or it's sweat. Because it is tight, it can feel uncomfortable at times but besides that, it is part of our things to have when wearing waders. Activities we use it for is smelting, salmon in the creeks and anything requiring waders.

The product itself was fine; biggest issue is the sizing. If you choose to buy this product, be aware that the sizing runs on the small side (order bigger than you think).

Foot size = 9.5 Purchased large blck ~30 swims so far with them; 1.5hrs per open water swim, 57/58FAcquired to avoid stepping directly on seagrass and sting rays during entry/exit; not necessarily for cold. I don't get cold after 5mins of entry, wearing just jammers.FITTINGFIRST dry-fitting was TIGHT, but when on, fitted perfectly. Stayed snug in open water swim.Suggestion: put socks on like how women put on pantyhose in movies; scrunch the sock flat from opening down to the toes portion, then slowly insert toes, pull them up inches at a time making sure each inch from toes fit snugly before proceeding up rest of feet to heels then up legs. Much easier subsequent to first fitting, after neoprene stretched to form your feet.

The stitching is a little weird, as in when not wearing the sock it is practically crumpled in on itself. Size also feels a bit off. Bought the Large and it still feels uncomfortably tight for my foot size.If you are a size in between L/XL go for the XL.

It is a good product but I had real trouble to fit the M size over my 9 1/2 US shoe men's size. According to the size chart it should be OK , but it's difficult to fit them, a talc powder helped and once they are in place they fit well and feel good, a good bonus is that they are long enough to place them under the wetsuit. I swam in 9 degrees Celsius water (48 F) and they offer good protection, although it felt cool. Maybe the 3mm socks are a better choice against that water temperature

they are a little hard to remove, fit very tight.i really cannot use them. A size large might be tobig. I think it is too late to return them. Thank you!

I'm a UK size 12 and the XL is super tight, I can only just get them on and they're not as stretchy as advertised. If you're a smaller size and have the option to size up it might be worth it as I don't think I'd be able to get them on at all if my foot or the socks were wet.

Bought these for my 11year old grandson who likes Bouldering. We live in Scotland so he uses them as socks inside his shoes, however they are so difficult to put on, he is reluctant to use them. Shame.

These socks do serve their purpose however I did find them really tight on my chunky legs. They do also cause drag but this is no reflection of the product or it’s quality just down to the fact you’re wearing socks over bare feet. Would highly recommend, true to size also

I had to return them because they were much too small, I couldn't even try them on.
