I love these booties they work great at first I went in the water and water came right through the material into the booty and this surprised me because my old booties the only water that would come in was down through the top part around your ankle. I thought this sucks at first the water goes right through. But after using them for the session I ended up really liking that the water came in and went out because it kept the boot secure to my foot instead of having water come in a get trapped and be a big water balloon on your foot because the water had no way to come out. They are still very warm I havent had a day where my feet froze just having the material around your foot keeps them from getting too cold. Also you feel like a ninja when you have them on they are super light weight and have nice grip on the sole. I want to buy a bunch more pairs incase they stop making them I like them so much. Highly recommend these there cheap and just enough material but not too much like some other brands. If your walking over really sharp rocks to go surf you may want something with a thicker sole though. For most jobs this will work just fine.

If a warm, amazing feel, low impact surf boot you are looking for, then look no further felller you found em. The O’Neil ninja booties are the end all be all. I absolutely despise booties hoods and all that there is cold for the purposes of surfing. I live in new Smyrna beach where we get many surfable days a year. Getting me to wear anything other than a 3/2 or 2mm to surf is a stretch no pun intended. These magic foot socks have got my thin blood about all winter without that pesky feel of what the heck is this stupid rubber on my feet and why can’t I feel my board

The sizing was as expected. I wear a 11.5 wide in shoes and often times end up in a 12. The 12's fit me perfect in this bootie. Well constructed and thin enough that I still feel well connected to the board. The split toe is easy on/off and wasn't a hassle at all.

Recommend sizing 1 down. I wear a size 10 shoe and went with size 9. Albeit a touch tight initially, after first surf they were perfect.Ideal for Southern California winters.

These are perfect for wakesurfing in 47* water. I prefer barefoot. But the grip on the bottom is great. The split toe gets you as close to barefoot as possible. The higher up ankle doesn’t let cold water in. The Velcro holds the ankle snug. Dip them in a cooler full of hot water in between sessions.

I would not recommend purchasing these boots. They fill up with water because there are no taped seams. The cuff at the top does not seal well either. I have recently purchased the Oneill Psycho Tech 3/2 and they are a much better boot. Spend the extra money and you will be better off. I went with the same size shoe I wear and the size was perfect.

The booties (least boot-like). I use an additional compression strap to keep them from bagging with water

These are my first booties. The sizing was perfect based on one of the other reviews who posted a picture of the booties box and sizing. They were a life saver for Melbourne’s ice cold water. They’re thin and flexible enough to feel like I had no booties on and I could still paddle and jump on the board with no issues. Make sure you wear your booties on the INSIDE of your wettie, otherwise your wettie will drain into your boots rather than drain outside the boot. I am glad I listened to the reviews of experienced surfers who have tried other booties as I was worried I would be investing in something I would not use. I highly recommend these booties. Get them!

They are extreamly light weight, verry flexable and have great grip. Not good for indoor training, feet wont pivot on solid floor, but great for outside use. I was worried about rocks poking through the thin sole, I weigh 270 pounds and walked normal on on a rock garden with no pain.
