Best price found yet. *important to any shopper: these lights burnout quickly when there's any humidity in the tanks it is over. We're (beginner / intermediate)reptile enthusiast and we have been very selective, researching these products and these are very good & excellent pricing.

These are much cheaper online than at the store! Sometimes the bulbs burn out kind of quick, but as another reviewer posted, if you let the bulbs cool down completely before switching them, you shouldn't have a problem.

These are the worst bulbs that I have ever purchased.I previously purchased two of Zoo Med’s Tropical UVB and Heat/Light kits and these are the same bulbs that came in the package. Since those were functioning fine, I came back to purchase more bulbs so that I had a couple of spares on hand as well as extras for use with other terrariums. However, when I saw the negative reviews and then realized that Zoo Med doesn’t specify a bulb life in their ad like other companies do, I was hesitant to purchase them. So, instead of stocking up and placing a large order right away, I decided to be cautious and just try a 2-pack first.Although the ad states “European made for long life†(the bulb is marked “Made in Franceâ€), the bulb lasted less than 350 hours. All of our reptile lights are on timers and this particular bulb was set to turn on for 8 hours per day. Unfortunately, it burned out on day 41 - 11 days past the 30 day return window. This purchase was not only a complete waste of time and money, but reptiles require reliable equipment in order to maintain optimum health and the bulbs that I received were anything but reliable! It makes me hesitant to purchase any other Zoo Med products if this is any indication of their quality control.UPDATE: I replaced the first bulb with the second one and it burnt out in under 35 hours. I discovered that I had an extra blue bulb tucked away (must have came with one of the kits) and tried that one, too. Unfortunately, it blew in 3 days (less than 24 hours of use). So, on average, the bulbs I received have lasted less than 130 hours which would require me to swap them out every couple of weeks. I have never had this issue with any other bulb.

Only one bulb worked. So basically wasted money buying the 2 pack.When I took out 1 bulb, it looked a little off but I decided to give it a try because the old bulb was done so I needed to get my gecko light / warmth ASAP. It immediately got super cloudy and went out (see in the photo attached, the old burnt out bulb on the right compared to the new one I just put in on the left). Thankfully these one bulb worked, but that means I paid $19 for 1 bulb - so a waste of money.I usually buy the single bulb to use in my gecko’s tank during the day. These usually last me 1-2 months before I need to get a new one (way less than the red bulbs by the same brand, those last me 6 months+).

We use these lights for my sons snake cage. They don’t have a very life however and burn out very quickly.

It arrived shattered because the driver threw it. Snake had to go a few days without heat until I had a day off to go and get a bulb in person gave 3 stars as a courtesy to the brand of bulb, the bulbs work great when the package isn’t abused.
