I love to fish this soft bait over and in Hydrilla. I rig it weightless with a 4/0 EWG hook on a 7' Med Hvy rod with 17-20lb fluorocarbon. I use either a slow retrieve (majority of the time) through the Hydrilla or I walk it over the Hydrilla and other types of cover.This is a very effective bait and somewhat durable depending on how aggressive the bass are. There will always be a Zoom Super Fluke in my tackle box.

If you do not have a soft plastic fluke in you lure rotation you are denying yourself one of the best fish catching lures out there. Lakes by my home are weed choked by late May and you have little choice but to fish weedless lures. This soft plastic rigged weedless and worked like a jerk bait allows me to cover water very quickly and go through vegetation so thick nothing else but weedless soft plastics can work. But unlike a SP worm you can work this lure much faster covering much more water but very thoroughly.Can not recommend Zoom Super Flukes strongly enough

Great bait when LM bass corral pods of shad on topwater or up against the bank. A couple of twitches and pause and bass will crush it. I’m a casual angler so I’m cheap and i only buy 3/0 EWG hooks for all my plastics. First I texas rig it as normal and when the bait gets tore up from being eaten and “tex-posed,†I rig it upside down to use it longer. Remember when LMBass fishing, lure action is more important than color. You just have to figure out what action (depends on what they are feeding on & depth) to determine a presentation of what the Bass want.

I love the look under water. Had my line wet for 5 minutes before it got smashed. Weightless by the bank. Avacado/red flake.

I use this lure with a 1 oz jig head to bounce the bottom for snapper and corvina (white sea bass) but it catches a lot more species!

This is most likely the best soft plastic out there first time using it I caught ten bass and a 4 pounder this is an amazing bait.
