I wanted a motion detector for our half bath. I didn't want a photocell because then the light stays on often... cloudy days make the room dark enough. The previous owners used a light fan combo that is just way to noisy to use if unnecessary.This works great. It does turn the light on during the day but the duration is short.Buy the four pack. Better value and you will find places to use the extras... trust me.

Works as expected, but I wish the cutoff time were adjustable. As it's currently designed, the time is way too short.

I don’t know why this comes in a pack of 4, we only needed 1 but it works great! We got it for a pantry we built in a small closet under our stairs. We didn’t want to worry about rewiring to install a light, but wanted something motion activated and this is perfect.

They work great, but I would like to be able to adjust the on time and be able to rotate the plug assembly.

Unfortunately because this has no adjustability, I cannot recommend it for anything task lighting wise. I have a plug in 4’ LED shop light that has no motion sensor so I bought this to add that feature for an area in my shop that isn’t always being used.It does turn the light on but without moving substantially, it will turn off quickly. I took the unit apart to see if there were any adjustments available for on time or how sensitive the sensor is (which is something almost all motion detectors have) but there are no adjustments.Due to this I will try to return it as I really need some kind of adjustment so it stays on for 5 min at least. If I can’t find another product I’d rather go back to a remote switch outlet.

I have backyard little Solar System and had No Lights except house switches and connected to PGE .and was using little sensor lights and low wattage light. I found the 4 foot LED tube lights that I had to switch on and off. So these sensor switches are much appreciated I just plug the lights into them and they come on when I walk in and turn off when I walk out and come 4 sensors in a package. I bought anthoer pack My House now has lights at 22 watts though out plus garage..So Thanks

I bought these plugs for my stairs as my husband installed lights so that when I enter the house the motion sensor will activate and the lights will turn on the stairs. We also have a light over our kitchen sink that is motion activated so we don't have to turn on the big kitchen light. Great product
