I purchased this switch for my Zoeller M53, and everything looked great. I also replaced the switch arm, so I spent nearly $90 on both these parts, at least 1/3 the price of a new pump, which in itself is ridiculous. I replaced the switch and arm, and watched to make sure things were functioning properly. They were! I was pleased. Then a few days later, my wife called me at work, frantically saying the basement was flooded! Upon disassembly, I found that no water was in the switch housing, but the switch was no longer "clicking" when the arm operated it. I put the old switch back in with the new arm, and wala! It works. So much for trying to be proactive!

Fits my sump pump and works great. First one came with a broken gasket, seller replaced next day with a new unit.

I bought this to replace the switch on my sump pump, because my floater got stuck....this completely failed when I had a rain two days ago ( August 5th 2024) my basement flooded....over 8 inches of water...my washer/dryer, furnace and water heater are ruined...along with other personal items in the basement. The switch was put on correctly....it worked fine prior to this when we had rain....go buy your switch from your local hardware store, not this China crap!
