Used to check water pressure at my country house. Attached to hose and gauge worked great. Showed I only had 15 psi at my house. When water company arrived to adjust my regulator down at the street, the new unit allowed me to monitor the pressure as the meter pressure regulator was adjusted. I let the water company employ know when I got the right static pressure of 55 psi at my house. My house is up on a hill and the elevation caused the large pressure drop requiring a higher pressure meter regulator down at the street. I also have a regulator in my basement to protect my house that is set to 55 psi. Unit is well built and easy to read. This is second unit I have had. First was used to design and install yard sprinkler system 20 years ago.

I heard the pressure was high so I wanted to test it. Someone told me it is 79 pounds in my area. The ace guy said it’s 80. I got the tester and it was exactly 80.

Comparing to a filled pressure gauge, it's pretty darn accurate. My only complain is that the red needle is too loose and will swing on any pulse pressure, giving inaccurate max value.

This is my third pressure gauge from this manufacturer, and every one, including this one, has provided me with a good experience to date. The readings are accurate, and the quality is always excellent. The only thing I would have liked to see available on this one is the ability to change fittings. But if you are looking for a great water pressure reader and do not have any other use requirements, this one is a great choice that should provide an excellent experience.
