The first one of the tapered reamers I received didn't cut anything, but produced a lot of friction heat. Contacted Amazon. They immediately sent me a second one. The second one reamed the taper with no problem. Very good value and quality.

I had to re weld a conical receiver . Drilled through and taper back to original specifications with this tool. It worked great and kept his sharpening.
