I couldn’t be happier with these! Not only are they superior quality but they are also spot on for the sizes. I mainly used the M3 tap to thread holes for an aluminum RC crankcases. The tap worked beautifully and the new threads looked like they were made at the factory. I have to give these 10/10 for being top quality and fair priced. These bits fit perfectly in a Vermont American 21916 T-Handle (Also available on Amazon)For my use, I was tapping threads in aluminum. I first drilled a smaller hole using a drill press. I then tapped the new threads in using a dab of oil. I HIGHLY recommend taking your time when making new threads. Once it starts to grab, go about 3/4 of a turn, then back about 1/8 of a turn. Then repeat the process. I repeatedly took the tap out to clean excess pieces of the filings it creates as I was making progress. Again, just take your time and don’t muscle them too much and you will have perfect results!

Bought these taps for my R/C hobby to work on vehicles. Along with the Pin Vise bought the work very well together for re/tapping threaded holes.

I’ve tapped several holes in aluminum with the 2.5 and 3 mm taps. Still sharp and no breakage. Definitely use lube and make half in half out turns to clear any chips. Nice little box to keep them separated from each other and in one place.

Taps not labeled, thus far I can not use any of them. Tried to thread holes but so far none seem to tap any of the holes. Bought taps to thread holes in the frame of a RC Vehicle. Have another set which seem to be better but start with the larger tap size. I have a cheap set that seems just as good as these. Disappointed none have worked thus far.

I use these to tap holes in 3D printed projects. You can use heat inserts instead sure but sometimes all you really need is a tapped hole to keep something in place. These work great on anything plastic. Have yet to use on anything metal.

A great little set of metric tapsvery sharp and cut accurate threads. I am using them to produce threads in various 3D printed materials including PLA, ABS, PETG, Nylon, Carbon Fiber PLA and Polycarbonate. A great selection of sizes. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to create threads in these materials. Shipping was fast.

They do the job. Looks used. The box is cheap very easy to break plastic, and so hard to open that you end-up making a "tap rain" all over the floor.
