Best basters I've ever used. They clean well in dishwasher too

I mostly use these to brush olive oil onto bread when I make panini, or onto phyllo dough when I make spanakopita. They work very well for these purposes. I have also used them to brush thicker barbecue sauce onto chicken, and that had a great outcome, too. I think these are better than other brushes I've used because the silicon bristles do not fall out the way natural bristles did. They're incredibly easy to clean, too, with just a drop of good anti-grease dishwashing liquid (the kind they use on baby ducks during oil spills; wasn't sure if it was ok to name brands in this review). I think they would be fine in a dishwasher on the top rack, but I don't currently have a dishwasher, so I don't know that for certain. But hey, if you melt one of them in your dishwasher, at least you have two backup brushes. The bright colors are nice, too, because they're easy to spot in my utensil drawer even though they're small.

I really loved the fact that you get three brushes instead of one for a great price! I use to have those brushes with wooden handles, and when you use them, the little bristles would fall out and stick to your food. That sucked. That's what I liked the most about these brushes — you don't have to worry about that. Also, I love that these were so easy to clean; why, the silicone allows you to, basically, run the water over them, and that essentially cleans it alone. They're also so easy to use, as they enable you to distribute the sauce into places that are itherw8de hard to reach. They also are easy to store because they're so small and compact that they don't take up much toom in your drawers. Or they have holes where you can hang them if you choose to. Lastly, I like the bright, cheery colors. That may not mean much to some, but I'm a happy, cheerful person, and I kind of like for my utensils to match my mood. Haha. The brushes are a lot smaller than expected. They are long enough, but the brush head is not wide enough. I have had no problems with them as they work well. It just takes me time as the brushes are small. Have not had any problems with them pulling or any discoloration.

Basting chicken with sauces. Bristles hold enough sauce and flexible enough to efficiently do the job!2 still new in the pkg and one been using like new. Wash up easily

I am done with with removable heads that can get black mold or fall off when in useLove the one piece design. Missing 1 star in my review as I would like them a bit wider and the handle a bit longer.

Use them a lot and find they are a great quality and easy to use and clean afterwards. Use basting on the BBQ or indoors cooking in the kitchen.
