I recently purchased the 4 Pack 3ml Disposable Syringe with Needle for my various crafting projects, and they have proven to be incredibly useful. Update: the next four needles stayed in place and worked fine. Have to be careful to grasp the base of the syringe tightly when removing the cap. Lot less expensive than buying from a vet or pharmacy.Original review: Opened three sealed packages. Each needle separated from its syringe base when I tried to remove the protective plastic cover, which goes down tightly over the base of the needle. Then, in order to get the needle out of the cover, my husband had to use pliers. We were able to screw the needles back into their syringe bases but are unsure how well they will hold when we insert them in the B12 bottle to draw the liquid for our cat's shot. These are supposed to be approved for veterinary use. I strongly doubt that based on our experience so far. We'll try one, and if that doesn't work, the remaining 49 will be returned. It's the way they are assembled that is the problem, which is unlike any other syringe we've used for our cat.

We originally bought these because my husband injured his ear at BJJ and needed me to drain his "cauliflower ear" - gross - and for that purpose these worked perfectly. I felt safe using them, they came in sterile packaging and they're sturdy so I didn't feel worried about anything being too fragile for use in cartilage. Anyway, these were great! I ended up with more than I needed so I dulled the needle on one and have been using it for fountain pen ink cartridges and they work beautifully there too. I also ended up using one for essential oils, and I think the needle is just too fine for that purpose because it lost suction pretty quickly and kept getting stuck. I think that's kind of a weird use though that most people won't need a syringe for, I just had tiny bottles and only wanted a couple of drops from those. Anyway, these are great for lots of things and they're super durable! A lot for the price too, which was nice.
