These worked great for my senior project, we had to screw and unscrew a lot so we decided to get these instead of just screwing directly into the plastic.

I'm glad I thought of looking for threaded inserts as a way to repair my Dell laptop case because one of the screw receptacles had been lost when the plastic that holds it in broke off. I used some quick setting epoxy to build up a base around this and voila, the left side of my laptop case closes up again.

Works very well for plastic parts that need a screwable surface. Easily melts right in and has a great grip after it's inserted. Very well made pattern.

I was happy to find these inserts. They have a good mix of sizes and they are good quality and stay in my 3D prints well. However, the M4 and M5 inserts came together all mixed up. They are different enough that I can tell the difference but I wish they were separated like the others.

I normally use 1/4-20 threaded inserts for screw applications in 3D printing, but when I needed something smaller, I found these. Works fine, watch the video. Be sure to practice on test material a few times. Too hot a temp and you risk pushing through the piece. For ABS I found a temp equal to the printing temperature to be just right.
