I bought these to use in place of the screws they give you with curtain rod brackets that you can't get at with even a stubby screwdriver. These work great.

After receiving I realized that the plastic knob diameter is too small (5/8”) for conveniently tightening. I should have looked better at the description. But picture they show is somewhat misleading because of the small thread the knob looks relatively large. Overall quality looks okay.Without even trying I just ordered a type with 1” tee wing knob.

I had high hopes for these screws based on the reviews. I bought these for a 4U network rail rack bracket with pre-tapped 10-32 holes. My conclusion was that the threading/diameter was inconsistent on these screws. Some fit in the bracket and others did not. I tried to force a couple of them and it was a struggle-- even with pliers. It is possible that it could be the bracket, but I tried a few different screws with different bracket holes and I think both parts were inconsistent and I wish the holes were more forgiving. I bought the brackets from Amazon as well and they're BOTH going back. Going to buy a bracket that has screws included.
