Ordered these to fix a vacuum cleaner, since Hoover no longer supports the parts for this older model. Had a motor that was fine, just had worn out brushes. Rather than throw the vacuum away, I carefully measured what was left of the old brushes, and found these that were close in size. I had to remove the copper lead wire for this particular application, but once that was done, they fit perfectly. Re-assembled the motor and attachments, and all is well - should be good to go for a number of years! Only negatives were that I had to order 10 pieces, but needed only 2; and that the delivery took quite a while (as was stated at the time of ordering). Guess it takes a while to move that container ship from China.
