Leaks from valve covers may be problematic. These not only cause unsightly stains but may lead to serious problems if not repaired.
What is a Valve Cover Gasket?
Valve cover gasket is designed to seal the valve cover to the top of the engine cylinder head, the valve cover gasket prevents motor oil from leaking out of the joint part.
Pay attention when replace gasket:
* Pls use genuine gasket,wipe the two joint surfaces of engine and clean valve cover with a soft brush.
*Clean the valve cover with cleaning agent, clean the contact surface between the valve cover and cylinder head, install the valve cover gasket, apply gasket maker, and screw the screws diagonally from the middle to both sides.
*Don't scar the valve cover surface when carving debris.Tighten the fixing bolts of valve cover evenly,not too tight,which might hurt your cover.

Don't buy waste your $$ and specially your time changing it cause it will leak, since back corner doesn't fit properly due to being twisted in package. I laid it out on counter over night before installing it still won't fit right but I was stuck and had to install since needed the car now regret it. Pay more and get better quality
