These are a nice set of 1/2 D-Shackles. Heavy duty and pretty!- I assume these to be quality steel. Based on my highly-calibrated hand, I’d say these have a tiny bit more heft and hardness than the galvanized ones I’ve held….But I wouldn’t want to be smacked with either.- WLL and CE Rated and Stamped- The fit and finish on these is smooth. The pin aligns well to the holes, and threads are also smooth.- The black color is nice and discreet.

These appear to be well made and very strong. I live on a farm and we use clevis shackles all the time. Tractors use tow bars so to connect a tow strap you need a clevis. When I evaluate one I always consider size and strength first and these are good for most applications. The next thing I consider is how easily the pin screws in and out and these work very well. The price for this size is really good.

I’m used to bigger shackles but these are rated 2 ton so should be good for most needs. I’ll probably use them with my synthetic winch line to keep everything lightweight. Pins function fine. They’re stamped with their size and load limit so overall not bad.

Ordered these for the rear receiver on my tractor to snake a chain through fir pulling small stumps. Worked perfectly. The rating of these shakles exceed that of my tractor so they were perfect for the application. Threads are good and tighten down. Finish is uneven in spots but once a chain goes through them it won't matter. Great value for four of them.

Snapped first try out of box pulling dodge ram 1500 out of the mud.I would recommend a bigger shackle than this. The WLL is over what’s needed.

Just what i needed to use with my recovery straps so my straps dont get cut trying to loop them around a sharp bumper mount or frame.
