Moves a lot of air. Runs very quiet. Used in duct work to boast airflow. Not a good way to mount in ductwork but aluminum tape worked well. Needed to add a speed control to reduce airflow

This fan under proforma says it does 1219 cfms it barley does 620 which is less then a good quality 8in fan advertised a speed controller which it didn't come with 🤬

The FICBXRA 14 Inch 2450 CFM Inline Duct Fan is powerful and very quiet for such a high flow Duct Fan. We are using it primarily as an exhaust fan in the shop, the FICBXRA 14 Inch Fan is very reliable and delivers a lot of bang for the buck. Honestly I couldn't be happier with the FICBXRA 2450 CFM Inline Duct Fan, it is efficient and Durable. I gave the Inline fan a Full Five Stars Across the Board.

I was excited to get this product for a DIV project, but I has discovered that the vendor has changed the product now. They advertised that the duct fan came with a speed control knob, which I really need, but the product I received did not have one. I even check the model number to make sure I got the right version and I did. The fan is very well-made and it can move air, but without the speed control, it will be running at maximum speed all the time.

So this product is very large and very heavy. I could not lift it by myself and I don't trust the walls of my greenhouse to be able to support the weight. This is my error, I probably should have tried to go with a smaller one, especially since I am unable to use it and also use my greenhouse heaters as I just don't think my power source can support the ampage of all of these things.It's hard to judge how well it works when it's clearly more than what I need.b

Got this for one of my grow tents and it's made a huge difference in my air quality, temperature and smell. Works with a plug in speed controller for total control but will need to be purchased separately. Even at halfway, it's will suck in all the walls of my tent and no smells can escape. With a new filter, you can stick your nose straight in the exhaust side during week 8 of flower and won't smell a thing. Temperatures drop at least 5 degrees from sucking out the hot air and my CO2 levels are relatively high from constantly circulating in house air. On hot days i can turn it up even more to help with the hot air. Works just as good as my big name brand vent fan and for less money. Highly recommend for the value, performance and quality materials used.
