Letters are smooth and ready to paint. They are perfect for classroom or art projects. They are same on both sides so could be hung so they can be viewed from both sides. They are solid wood, yet lightweight.Can be easily hung with tiny eye-screws, or even a tiny nail with wire or fishing string.I painted with one coat of white acrylic craft paint then another coat of desired color. I gave a light sanding to smooth paint strokes, then added pre-cut acrylic 1.5†letters, also from Amazon.

Works beautifully on the door.I sprayed it Blue and the wood sucked up a lot of paint. Eventually, it came out as wanted.The doors of out ICT Department.

It is definitely the letter “Aâ€. Best to invest in some paint if you need a different color.

I decided that I did not want a traditional guest book for our sons first birthday. We decided to go with a wooden letter (first letter of his name) and have all the guests that attended, sign. The plan will be to frame the letter and display in his room. Great quality letter for a lifetime of memories.
