I purchased this product for use as a heat barrier for my dryer hose connection. It separates and quiets the vibrations between the wall and the dryer.

This does provide good fire retardant protection when brazing things like copper in refrigeration or HVAC but the little blanket sheets are about the size of a hand towel and quickly begin to tatter and threading comes apart. I was not impressed with the stitching.

Hang it by the holes to hang it by the door to do not forget to take it and wen I pick it up both metal rings was broken in less than 30 minutes. So sad cause I need it for the job I’m going to do today smh

Bought to keep smoke from entering my house when loading my wood furnace. Material itself has no problem dealing with the heat. The stitching that holds it together however fell apart after about two uses. I bought a carbon fiber one instead. Can take the heat and not falling apart. I would go that route and don’t waste your money like I did.

I bought two of these and used both today for a compressor change out. Both burned all the way through and can’t be used again on first use. Waste of money! Didn’t work great at all!
