I got these to replace the potholder the dogs tore up. I do like the size of these, they are large enough to cover your hands. They are a little on the thin side, not quite heavy enough to keep the heat out. If I am taking the pan any further than the stove top or kitchen counter, I use two in each hand. I wish they were a little thicker, because they are well made and I would like to buy them again.

These were amazing for a daycare craft for Mother’s Day, but many of the threads on the edges were coming out or barely even in it. For a cute keepsake it doesn’t matter, but for daily use it could be a problem

Love the quality and colors, they do shrink in the wash a bit but it could be due to the way I washed them. Still 100% recommend them!

Reviewers were bothered by the shrinkage, so I DID a TEST on the Orange and Pink ones:Machine Washed both in Cold water and detergent.1st Photo, left to right - Blue is new, unwashed. Orange, washed cold and dried in dryer; Pink, washed cold and air dried. (Air dry vs Dryer hardly made a difference.)2nd photo shows the actual grab size of the New one (7.75†x 7.75â€), rather big for me, 5’4†180 lbs.3rd photo shows the shrunken Pink one (6.5†x 7â€), the “grab size†I actually prefer… there’s not a lot of extra fabric in the way, it’s an easier size to grapple hot pans with. Maybe a large hand would prefer the bigger size.I thought these were a great buy for the money, and colorful. Plus, the colors didn’t run in the wash.
