I was a litte aprrehensive after reading the other rewiews but his was exactly what I'd hoped for and received. It was sturdier than I'd expected (after seeing the rewiews) and of sufficiuent size and stability. I paid $8.50 for it (what do people expect?) I wouldn't hesitate.

I use this to raise my leg up to balance and rest my Taylor acoustic guitar for playing makes it much easier it sturdy and cheaper than a guitar stool great price

It is durable and the height is adjustable. It’s comfortable for me and I do like the adjustable height.

This is a useful foot stool for guitarists. The height is easily adjustable from its lowest setting of between 4"-5" from the ground to a very high setting angled from 8" to 10.5" off the ground. The foot stool has rubber feet to keep it from sliding. The area where you rest your foot has a bumpy texture to keep your foot from slipping. These features make the foot stool plenty stable for my use. My only minor complaint is that the height adjustment notches could be more secure. However, I don't believe this will cause any problems.

For as small and lightweight as this is, it's remarkably sturdy. The top of the stool is never exactly horizontal to the ground. In the lowest position, it has just under a 5° incline. In the highest position, it's just under 20°. I haven't had any trouble with either it slipping or my foot slipping on it. I have to move it around a bit to get it just right, but once it's in place, it feels very natural and makes it easier to hold a guitar on my lap. It does tip a little if I move my foot, but I'm ok with that since I don't use it for anything more than resting a foot on while I sit upright. I could potentially see it causing more trouble if you do use it for applying toenail polish and you're putting more weight on it. At the current price of $9 for one or $6 apiece if you're buying the pack of four, it's a great buy.

Update 22Jan2025:While I am not returning it, I had to reduce it to one-star, and don't feel comfortable recommending it unless one is willing to deal with a return (which is not a problem here - if not very convenient and tiresome to have to engage with another "drop off").======Original:In general it can be a great deal and what one would want for what it is supposed to accomplish. However, and since is a part of the product as they send it, regardless of how it may be delivered - how this pedal guarded within their OEM package leaves it open to being malformed.In mine, I observed this as I comment here, and had to consider carefully if it may be the "luck of the draw". So, it is very discouraging find an otherwise reasonably made product at a reasonable price only to have it have a quality assurance issue and have to then struggle to obtain a "good one".I actually considered one-star. However, I could go through the ordeal of an exchange and hope for a better experience one more time, so feel two-stars may be appropriate. However, if one were not amiable to doing so, it should be one-star, unfortunately. Otherwise it might be four-stars.For it to be a five-star review, to define that - it would have to be, all things considered a more heavy duty offering with all else the same - other than how they provide for protecting it in their OEM packaging.
