Pods make planting so easy. The hydroponics method works perfectly so the herbs grow well and healthy. I do wish the plant openings weren't so close together. The growth cannot go but so far. I've been leaving one empty in between each herb.

This product was received free as part of the Amazon Vine review program.I liked the sponge consistency when wet. The size was fairly uniform at approximately 3/4" wide at the top and about 2" long. There is a dimple in the wide end to receive the seed(s) for your hydroponic garden.I have seeds that previously germinated in about two days and they did so again with this product.My hydroponic system arrived without much in the way of instruction so I was pleased to find some helpful directions with this product. Also included are stickers to keep the sponge pods centered in their plastic holders and some inexpensive tweezers that work well placing tiny seeds into the sponges.With careful shopping, you may find a similar product at a much lower cost per item but you may have to purchase a larger quantity.I am overall pleased with the performance of Vervyvine growth sponges. At about $10.00USD, the cost to value ratio limits my rating to four stars.

The sponges aren’t as good of quality as other sellers, they stay hard even after soaking for an hour, and don’t fit into holders since they stay small.I haven’t had a seed germinate in them, so I can’t speak on that.

Used some expired basil seeds I had laying around and these replacement pods worked great. Good to know I can continue to use my aero garden even though the company is going under.
