We love this as a pre writing activity. The hammers/mallets are cute but seem sturdy. The tees arrived just loose in the box which was annoying but they were all there.

As a Kindergarten teacher I am always looking for things and ways to make learning fun. I love that this set comes with 10 hammers, perfect for a small center. And so many wooden dowels. What I did with these was put it on Styrofoam and wrote letters all over it. The kids where able to bang a nail into each letter as they practiced their letter names and letter sounds. What a fun activity. I think you could do so many other things with this set. But that's what we did with them and it was a blast. Great quality little hammers and mallets and love the wooden nails.

The little wooden hammers and "nails" are a great little party favor or activity for a young boy's birthday or a group activity. The hammers are lightweight, sanded and finished wood, with a painted head. The nails are golf tees, which have a nice wide head and aren't very sharp at the business end. Just add "lumber" or cardboard boxes!
