I ordered this because the pictures show this being used on door windows on a vehicle. The plastic trim on my 2005 Saturn Ion has started to wrinkle and scrunch up, probably do to sitting in the sun and baking. I wanted to replace those trim pieces with this, but they're not really the same thing. I ended up cutting the wrinkled plastic off of the metal (shiny plastic?) trim pieces and applying this over the top. Not exactly OEM, but it looks better than it did originally. The adhesion seems good so far. Not sure how long it will last in the sun - only time will tell.

I wasn't impressed with this for covering the gaps on the Dodge windows. I prep surfaces with alcohol wipes before applying anything like this but still worried it would come unstuck when rolling windows up and down. I also didn't like how it looked compared to factory seals, so I ordered replacements for them at a much higher price so they'd definitely stay in place. This would probably have worked better on a sunroof or as home weatherstripping rather than on often-used vehicle windows. It's just not designed for windows with the almost L-shaped hard plastic window trim with a horizontal top and not enough room for this to stick.
