the listed dimension of 40.7mm is of the center of the male threads and the the edge to edge. The edge to edge is 41.6mm that it fits. i was able to install and use it on the "IBOSAD HVAC Hydraulic SWAGING tool kit for copper tubing Expanding 3/8 inch to 1-1/8 inch" which is model ct-300A. highly recommended.

There's not sufficient depth for 1/4" tubing with this piece. I purchased the entire kit and all work graet aside from the 1/4".

I have a Blackmax by CPS swager and it was lacking the 1/4inch expander for 1/4 inch soft copper. I was surprised that it fit. It also fit a colleagues hilmor tube swager. So I can verify that at half the cost, it will fit these two brands of swagers.
