Replaced the vent in the enclosed trailer - fit was perfect, holes even lined up with some of the old ones.I did not need one with a fan but this was the best deal so what the heck.The frame is plastic - original was metal - but it is thick and appears strong so it is fine.I used butyl rubber strip as a gasket then applied the RV sealant tape around the perimeter.Would not hesitate to purchase again.

The 30 year old unit had reached the end of life. Easy enough to remove old one and install this one. It really spins and moves the air. Good buy!

I like that the fan has more blades and runs at a faster speed than the original fan. It also has four speeds which makes it more user friendly. I don't like that is is plastic. I'm not sure how it will hold up in the AZ sun. It fit correctly and was an easy install. We'll see how it holds up in time.

I went for the cheap option. It seems pretty flimsy and low quality. It shudders when closing and the fan is pretty noisy and doesn't seem to do much with the tiny little fan blades. Even the box it came in was flimsy. Comes with zero instructions so I had to guess what size wire to use. Pretty bad. Go with the upgrade from this.*update: handle broke and won't open the fan at all anymore. Cheap piece of crap!
