These will work great for reinforcing furniture. I originally bought these to put on two boards in a horse stall so that the horses couldn’t lift it up and fight with each other. The boards slide into a groove to make it easier to replace when needed. It worked for a while, then somehow they got one of them out. I used longer screws and it works fine now. I like that the holes are indented so the screw heads sit flat with the bracket. This was my last ditch effort to keep the peace between two horses. It works.

We have purchased furniture back in the 80s/90s that had those silver/chrome 4 hole braces that you could literally bend with your hands, and I always wondered what the point was. I would take a drill bit and make it so I could use a bigger/longer wood screw, and I'll probably do that with these braces as well. The included screws are a miniscule .06" and for proper securing, IMO I think you need a minimum of 1" and best is probably 1.25-1.5" length screws.

These were perfect to firm up my L- Shaped Desk. A couple of these underneath really made it a solid base.
