Very cost effective. I test it before installing by connecting the wiring plugs, using a jumper wire to ground the solenoid case to a good ground, and then very briefly starting the engine. The plunger should pull in and stay until you turn the key off.

I tried 2 of these, both were duds right out of the box. Didn’t work. Total garbage. I’ll stick with OEM rather than waste my time with these!

This was used on a Kubota b7800 tractor, the bolt hole pattern for mounting the solenoid was off by about 1mm so I had to file it to make it fit. Otherwise quality seems ok, it worked after installing it so hopefully it will last.
