A major convenient time saver and perfect length wire. Works as it should and eazy to replace when needed. BUT, use auto tape on threads i got a slight dribble of coolant coming out of the threads. the product description says not to because of connection, well, the threads have nothing to do with connection. the sensor tip sends continuity to the top post where the wire connects too and mine works fine now with no leaks.UPDATE: 6/10/2020 - it appears i may have to toggle this thing. I had a 160 inline stat installed but it ran too hot at idle. So i replaced it with a 185 but the problem is this fan only comes on at 185 so it doesnt start cooling the radiator until after the stat opens and allows water to flow thru and im still running too hot and jumping to a 195 stat will not help my MPG.So, im going to take the motorhome on a hot day highway road test and try sitting in traffic here and there and see how things work with the 185 inline stat. if im still idling to hot i will just run a toggle switch or bypass the relay all together and run hot to my ignition switch. fan will turn on and off with the key and then ill hope i dont boil over after shutting the engine off wich it shouldnt because thats how horse power draining clutch fans work right !P.S. if the engine gets too got and its a realy hot day out sometimes the relay will not respond and if it keeps up im going to just toggle everything.

Upon receiving this product, I liked that it included everything in the description. The harness, relay, and everything overall seemed of good quality. I didn't use the temperature sensor, since I wanted my cooling fan to be controlled by a switch inside my car. The illustrated portion of the instructions didn't make much sense, but the written part did. Follow that or check some YouTube videos on it, and it's easy as pie. Works as advertised!UPDATE: 2 weeks later, the relay died. Replace the relay with a higher quality one from an autoparts store.

VERY IMPORTANT! The relay box is in two pieces. The box with the wires goes up against the wall and the then the second piece plugs into it. I didn’t know this and figured it out after many hours if racking my brain. Other than that, it’s easy to install and seems to works so fa.

Nice heavy duty electric fan wiring kit. Comes complete with all you need to get your engine cooling fast. I will admit the instructions isn't the easiest to understand but with the help of Google and your tube they will assist you in wiring it up properly. I do want to add and it is a must the sensor that screws into the thermostat housing MUST be grounded in order for it to work. If it not grounded to the motor and the motor grounded to the body then it will NOT kick on and your motor will overheat. So make sure you have a good ground and you can't go wrong.

Works Great .I was able to wire to an adjustable thermostat by bypassing( not using ) thermostat that came with product so that I can now set to temperature I need ..It is able to handle amperage for a 18 inch fan and 10 inch fan wired in series without blowing fuses which was problem I had before buying this ..I had asked multiple Auto parts stores and also my brother who is a mechanic if there was set up to pull power directly from battery but using relay from ingition so that fan would not run when ignition was off and they all said no such setup existed..They were all wrong ..I will post name of adjustable thermostat i use soon

I live in Florida so the days and nights get pretty warm and on top of that I have a Trans Am hot rod that I need to keep cool. I bought this to install on a electric fan I put on my new radiator. In the picture you can see the thermostat in my intake (red top with wire hooked into it). This does kick my fan on at 185° and it does shut it back off at 175°. I took it for a drive yesterday when it was 92° outside and my car didn't get over 192° . I did also put a brand new water pump, hoses, radiator, radiator cap, and new fluids. This is a no brainer if you are putting an electric fan in, you need this so you don't burn your car to the ground. It has everything you need.

Easy to wire up and install everything I needed came in the kit, but the instuctions aren't very good if your not familiar with electrical wiring. The actual thermostat switch didnt work at all and neither did the second replacement switch. I let the engine warm to 200 both times still nothing, I even tested the circuit and the supplied relay to make sure everything else is wired correctly by touching the switch wire (long ground wire) to the block and the fan kicked on perfectly, so I know the switch is defective. I just put a toggle switch in to activate when needed until I can find a good switch that actually works

Great product. I used the relay and circuit breaker to wire an auxiliary cooling fan to my 94 dodge b350. Actually used fan and shroud from 2010 neon that was escaped. Not designed to replace existing clutch fan but to help the heat transfer at the condenser. Helps the AC to do its job as well as the engine compartment.

Kit arrived ahead of due date, but, the sensor showing in kit says 185/175. The one I received was 200/185. Waiting for reply from them, or proper sensor.
