Has a protective film on the outside and good adhesive on the back

Inexpensive solution, good adhesion. Very difficult to apply without creases or bubbles. LIsting instructions seem to be about a different product requiring water to apply.

Unfortunately, this would not stay in place long enough to get it clingged to my motorcycle lens. Even when using a hair dryer, this helped get the plastic to bend to my will, but it kept getting air bubbles reappearing. I finally removed both clear membranes from both sides but, it still kept getting air bubbles reappearing. I gave up, and tried to put the film directly on eyeglass lenses that were from my old glasses. It was then that I found the material is not truly clear. Many variations in the thickness distort clear vision through this film. I counted it as a loss, and ordered a pinlock face shield from Revzilla. They had the best price.

Used this to tint the lower fog lights on our barricade front bumper. Love the yellow light especially driving at night. Easy application and did the job perfectly.
