This stuff does exactly what it says it's does. Keep an eye on the time or set a timer if you have to. You'll want to spot check it to make sure of how it is working on what you're using it on. It's pretty great, a little goes a long way. It pretty amazing actually, I'm not sure if there's another product that is more heavy duty, but if there is, I'd definitely stay away from it,because this stuff is great. I used steel shot to polish after running pieces through this,and the results were pretty amazing.

I bought these to clean fired brass in a vibratory tumbler. They do clean those brass cases very well inside and out. Some of the smaller stones will get stuck in the primer pockets. You should know it will take the finish right off of unplated brass. This probably won't work too well on nickel plated brass.

I cannot use pointy shaped stainless steel shot in my tumbler when polishing enameled pieces. This round shot works perfectly.

The product works well de-burring stamped sheet metal parts…a few stubborn edges were cause to leave the parts in the vibratory tumbler for additional hours…this extra time allowed the chrome to be removed exposing copper (this did not matter to me), what was unfavorable, however, was the caked-on residue from the media, some of which was easily removed but a good portion was not. Perhaps this is normal, this is my first experience with ceramic media.

Bought it to fill a hacky sack I’m making. The size shape and weigh was perfect, and it’s probably 8x the amount I need.

Excellent for burnishing in a Lortone 3 lb barrel. Tossed in some ivory soap, let it run for two hours, then came back to a bright and shiny finish. Worth the money and then some
