I don't have many notes on this one; it works as expected. It comes in a solid, robust package that didn't suffer any breakage or issues, making it easy to store around the house with my other rock tumbling items. In terms of price, I thought it was a great value compared to similar items of different sizes and from different sellers, which is another bonus.Overall, I am absolutely pleased with this purchase, and I would order from this company again without hesitation.

There are at least 3 steps of progressively smaller media grit that must be tumbled with the polished rocks. This is the first step so I have a ways to go before I have polished rocks.

I ordered this grit over another brand that I like because they claimed that they were going to include four gem necklaces as gifts. It's right in the first bullet point for the Stage 1 10lb grit. When I received the grit, these necklaces were nowhere to be seen. The grit is fine but I don't like bait and switch tactics and I would not have ordered this brand had those necklaces not been promised.

I have a rock tumbler that I have been using for quite some time now. A batch of rocks went through the first and second stages of rock tumbling now it was time to use this grit for the third level of tumbling. I did notice the rocks were smoother and a little shinier than they were before I put them in the tumble. The grit worked well; the grit was very consistent throughout the container. I leave my rocks going for one full week before changing the stages and have no complaints with this grit.
