Bought these to have on hand, and just quickly put some on the top of the soil for my coffee plant (it'll get repotted this summer). Coffee plants love to be moist so these are great. It within a week was throwing out more leaves and is overall so much happier.

I've used the hydroton stuff before and it's great but hard to get any residue off and harder to rinse and seem to always when dried out... make a ton more dust again... This brand has it going on they're the perfect size very very few tiny unlike other brands and these clean super easy and in my opinion look better and seems like they would last longer. This stuff what you want for hydroponics and Hydroton is better for aquarium bio media!
