I never knew there was a filter in the microwave and it has been ten years since it was installed. So when I discovered it during cleaning it was pretty gross. Ordered this just by size and it turned out to be a perfect fit. In all ways it seems an exact replacement.

I have an LG microwave convection and I needed a new filter. I tried to order one from the LG site without success. I found the ones I got on Amazon and they work very well and less hassle to order.
