Have a thick hose and this fit perfectly. Left the water on and in the morning I saw water everywhere and the Spray head was 5 feet away with the threaded piece Union inside it. About a year old expensive one with brass colored tri metal infused with dust particles.Bought these because I liked the price- bogo almost.Reviews looked good also.Thick "New brass. Used old skool clamp from a junk car and tightened perfect. It will spin but doesn't leak. The clamp head and small nut can be annoying at first but it's not really in the way - getting the right size clamp will help eliminate this more

These 5/8" hose ends are top quality. The brass is thick and strong. They fit my 5/8" Flexzilla hose perfectly. Highly recommend and would buy again. In fact we are in Florida for the winter and I just purchased another pair of both male and female hose ends from Hanobo through Amazon.
