Our two toilets would run as if someone had flushed them even when nobody was using the toilets. I decided to replace the flapper and purchased these and what a difference! Not only have the toilets stopped running but when we flush the toilet now we can control how long the flush lasts. Saves water and stops the toilets from blocking too! This helped me fix our bedroom, toilet that would continually fill up the tank when my wife would flush. I had a plumber friend look into it and they said I need to change the flapper as I suspected. He told me to order a model specific to my Toto toilet. I was planning to call him back to install it. But when I looked at it and the inside mechanism of the tank, I figured I could do it myself.With a little help with a YouTube video I was able to replace the old one with the new one.PROS- Easy to install in less than 10 minutes. - No tools required.- Cheaper than hiring a plumber.CONS- I wish it would have come with a link to a YouTube video on how to install and replace this flapper. But I guess the assumption is that a plumber would be doing this. - The rubber feels a little flimsy but I guess time will tell.

Toto replacement flapper was perfect solution to leaky old one only con was it was very lightweight although worked well.

This item fit my Toto toilet and it works perfectly now.. I had purchased a more expensive Toto flapper replacement at Home Depot that was listed as the proper replacement part but it did not fit.

Got it to replace old TOTO flapper. While this looks very similar to the original TOTO, except no TOTO logo on top, it's curled up and of poor quality. Doesn't seal the hole and lets water in. Total waste of money.

I had quite a time replacing the flapper in my 2-year old Toto CST424 series toilet. The original flapper had hard plastic pieces at the hinges, which would not pivot or lift off. After consulting youtube and some plumbing websites, I discovered that you have to cut those off with dikes (aka diagonal wire cutters). This was not fun. But this replacement flapper worked right away, was easy to install and it is flexible rubber so it will be much, much easier to replace. After going through this on a 2-year old toilet, I would never buy Toto again. I have an American standard that is going strong after ten years without this kind of trouble.

So happy to find this part on Amazon. Could not find any Toto toilet parts at any big box hardware stores or anywhere online, and then like magic, it popped up on Amazon! Great price, fast delivery, and toilet now works better than ever!

When you flush and drain the water from the tank - it pulls a vacuum on it and it turns concave and leaks. This is because there is a 2nd hole in the side which is not shown clearly in the photo... the 2nd hole fills with water, the flapper is flimsy, and the water flow pulls (sucks) into the hole. I ended up buying another flapper... this one is garbage.
