These couplers function as expected. I have several of them and i've had them sumberged in salt water for months with no signs of rust. They do still accumulate marine growth (like everything else), but that cleans off relatively easily.

I use for personal water sports,good quality stainless steel so far but only a year so don’t know yet to be sure

Item is a good quality and looks to be marine grade. However the 1/4" diameter didn't fit into the hole I needed it to hold to metal pieces in place. Returned and looking for a smaller diameter.

The hing pins on ou Q300 were rusted out, these pins are 0.25 inch diameter and Emile a little too long ( measurement error, ) the bales do a great job of holding the pins in place

Where have these been my whole life! My Road a tiller needs pins they fell out every single one I tried would get lost. Not these! Easy to put on stays in place and soooooo nice! Do it buy it!
