Works as it should. Contents not as described on the depicted instruction card on this site. Came in a small zip lock bag was the unit, 1 wire of sufficient length and 2 screws. Two of those bags were shipped together in a 3 /12" x 5" box. What was NOT INCLUDED but depicted or referred to on the instruction card photo on this website was (1) any instructions, (2) dual sided tape, and (3) the tiny zip tie depicted to tie the wires together as instructed. This unit is identical to the YAMAHA hour meter I installed on my YAMAHA outboard [but at 7 times the price!].... it's been on there for 11 years, still counts time accurately and still displays clearly -- I assume because o a mini-capacitor that stores energy collected from an active spark plug keeps it displaying... but after 11 years the motor has only has 232 hours on it so the spark isn't too active!! Super easy installation.. Installed on my brand new Honda generator for scheduled maintenance, Flashing symbol confirmed it's woking as advertised . Highly recommended.

Easy install. Good price. No instructions but just run the supplied wire in the groove on the backside of the hour meter and wrap the other end around the spark plug wire, right where the boot is.

Updated review:It lasted longer than a month, but less than 2 months.The point of this was to keep track of total use time. It does work when the engine is on, but goes off with the engine and the time goes back to 0.It would be nice for keeping track of how long the yard takes to cut, but that's it. And I don't care about that. I wanted to know how long it was used each season.Junk!

Todo excelente, desde el proceso de compra y envío. Fácil colocación y lectura. Lo Instalé en un generador eléctrico, trabajó de maravilla hasta las 48 horas, y de repente, simplemente dejó de funcionar, se apagó. Este medidor había superado mis expectativas en todos los aspectos, pero me ha decepcionado. Ojalá y el otro medidor que me queda, si funcione correctamente.
