These clamps are extremely important in our kitchen and are used in other places around the house. These clamps are better than the larger "chip bag clips". We use these clamps to hold most food bags closed. We also use one on the toothpaste tube to hold the curled up portion closed and keep the toothpaste in the upper portion of the tube. We have ordered these clamps many times to replace the older clamps or to add to our collection. These are a very useful gadget!

These clamps work well and are not too strong so when you want a firm yet somewhat gentle hold they work well. The rubber cushion ends are a bit thin but work well.

The 2" Metal Spring Clamps, marketed as "Heavy Duty Spring Metal Clips," fall short of expectations easily. Despite their strong description, they are inadequate for simple tasks like holding a potato chip bag closed. The clamps struggle to maintain a secure grip on an empty Doritos bag. They don't live up to their "heavy duty" claim and are better suited for ultra-light tasks.

These are NOT heavy duty. They are just regular clamps. Maybe ok for crafting, but too weak for the shop.

I use these for clipping thick fabrics/quilting projects together - they are much more reasonably priced than the plastic clips designed for quilters. Spring loaded and easy to use. Just received so no idea how long they will hold up or if the rubberized coating will last. Good thing is they can be used even if the rubberized coating comes off.
